Mission and Values

Mission

Strengthening human services through training, organizational and technical assistance, technology, and evaluation.

Values

Initiative
We are self-reliant, and we lead through action. We look for opportunities to increase our effectiveness. We seek challenge and assume responsibility for doing whatever needs to be done.

Quality
Our standard is excellence. We always work to exceed expectations: "Good enough" is never good enough. We strive toward continuous improvement in all we do.

Cooperation
We work collaboratively and constructively toward shared goals. We accept and appreciate the value of opposing views, but we do not allow differences to interfere with the achievement of desired outcomes.

Creativity
We are consistently open to finding new ways to help achieve the CDHS/Research Foundation mission. We consciously seek innovative ways to interact, to do our work, and to meet the needs of those we serve. We use our diversity to gain new perspectives.

Accountability
We assume responsibility for our own actions. We take ownership for our work, as well as for the way that it gets done. We do not blame, but we instead seek constructive ways to make things better. In all our endeavors, we are committed to both personal and professional growth.
