Registration Services at 716.876.7600. The Registration Services
Team shall provide concise answers
to any questions regarding participant
registration, training program
schedules, training locations
and site maps, as well as informative
procedures to follow when registering
participants for each training
delivery.
The Registration
Services Team maintains the
CARS System for all data entry
aspects of participant nominations,
acceptance to training programs,
attendance history, and post-training
demographics. On-line registration
processed via STARS is accessed
through CARS for immediate review
and response. Our Team works
closely with Unit Training Directors
in following policy guidelines
when confronting over-subscribed
training programs, and recruiting
for under-subscribed courses
so that staff developers and
participants have immediate
access to acceptance of nominated
participants and to ensure that
confirmation letters can be
generated to accepted participants
in a timely manner.
Continual upgrades
and technological advances to
the CARS System have allowed
Registration Services to improve
the process of confirmation;
whereby Confirmation Memos are
generated via STARS for local
districts and mailed to voluntary
and provider agencies. Additional
improvements include a Conference
In-House Program that maintains
registration for participants,
presenters, special guests,
and can generate personalized
itineraries, name badges, and
folder labels for each participant
to provide effective organization
with personalized conference
materials.
The Center
for Development of Human Services
utilizes a Registration Service
Call Center concept where all
team members can accurately
answer incoming questions and
concerns effectively. The Call
Center approach provides more
efficient response time to our
customer's needs and reduces
hold time on the phone for both
the caller and our team members.
Callers shall be referred quickly
to appropriate Unit Directors
or Staff Representatives to
respond to more technical issues
and special requests.
The continuous
goal of the Registration Services
Team is to assist each customer
efficiently; to deliver appropriate
responses to each question;
and to provide guidance through
each process of registration;
all to ensure quality assistance
from the CDHS Call Center.
