| Foster/Adoptive Parent Training Project |
| Operating statewide, the Foster/Adoptive Parent Training Project provides direct, outcome-based training to caseworkers, homefinders, and foster and adoptive parents in order to promote safety, well-being, and permanence for children. |

| HIV/AIDS Training Institute |
CDHS HIV/AIDS trainers develop and deliver training courses to meet the needs of child welfare professionals and foster parents. Begun in 1989, the statewide Children with HIV/AIDS Training Project focused on child welfare issues. |

| CDHS Medicaid
trainers provide training,
support, and technical assistance
to local district Medicaid
eligibility staff and facilitated
enrollers affiliated with
either managed-care plans
or community-based organizations
as part of the New York
State Department of Health.
