Diana Fildes
Unit Manager, Registration Services

Diana began her career with CDHS in 1995 as a data entry operator. She then served as Registration Services team leader for several years before assuming her current role in 2006. As manager of the Registration Services unit, Diana supervises the five members of the Registration Services support team who together register and make travel arrangements for approximately 275,000 training participants and conference attendees annually. Diana also oversees the CDHS Call Center and provides consulting assistance in the development and implementation of enhancements to the Center Automated Registration System (CARS), the CDHS in-house training registration management program linked to the Statewide Training Registration System (STARS). The CARS program enables Registration Services staff to manage attendance, rooming lists, and trainee travel reimbursements. Registration Services staff are also able to use the CARS program to generate personalized itineraries, names badges, and folder labels to provide effective organization for conference attendees.

Because she has been directly involved in many transitions and changes in the Registration Services area over the years, Diana has an in-depth knowledge of all phases of trainee registration and contributes her extensive experience and careful expertise in handling the many important details associated with the numerous conferences and seminars facilitated by CDHS each year. She also he takes great pride in the individual attention and customized services provided by each of her staff members, all of whom make special efforts to provide efficient, high-quality customer service.
