A leader in the field of social
services training and organizational
development, CDHS has a staff
of approximately 120 trainers
and senior trainers, each of
whom is committed to helping
to deliver high-quality, outcome-based
training to over 40, 000 participants
statewide each year.
In order to meet this demanding
workload, our trainers are assisted
by a full staff of professional
curriculum designers, a publications
specialist, graphic designers,
multimedia and technology specialists,
and evaluation specialists.
These experts create innovative,
compelling training materials,
develop and administer cutting-edge
training support systems, develop
assessment instruments, and
conduct real-time follow-up
evaluations. Additional staff
provide necessary office support,
announce and schedule training
deliveries, make travel arrangements
for trainees and staff, and
ensure that training-related
materials are printed, compiled,
and shipped in a timely manner.
While the Center’s headquarters
are located in Buffalo, a significant
number of staff are located
at our training locations in
Albany, New York City, Syracuse,
and Rochester. CDHS Special
Projects staff are located off
site at various State and local
agencies across the state.
As determined by our contractual
needs, CDHS periodically has
opportunities for high-energy,
proactive individuals with a
strong desire to strive for
excellence in their work. As
opportunities arise, they are
advertised both in print and
on our Web page. Since CDHS
does not recruit on a continuous
basis, resumes are accepted
only when a vacancy exists.
