Reporters

The professionals identified below are mandated to report suspected child abuse or maltreatment. In addtion, those marked by an asterisk (*) must complete state requirements for coursework in the identification and reporting of these behaviors. All mandated reporters may wish to complete this training in order to understand their responsibility.

Christian Science Practitioners

Day Care Workers
Dental Hygienists*

District Attorneys or Assistant Attorneys
Emergency Medical Technicians
Employees or Volunteers in a Residential Care Facility as defined by SS412(7)
Hosital Personnel engaged in the admission, examination, care, or treatment of patients
Investigators employed in the office of the District Attorney or other Law Enforcement officials
Medical Examiners

Medical Residents
Mental Health Professionals
