Setting Screen Resolution

Step 1: Right-click on the desktop (screen) background,select Properties.

Step 2: The Display Properties dialog box will appear.  Now click on the Settings tab.

Step 3: Depending on your video card and monitor, a menu of screen areas similar to the one shown below will appear. (Note the resolution of this computer is only 800 by 600 pixels.)

Step 4: Change the resolution to 1024 by 768 pixels (or better) by dragging the pointer as shown below.

Step 5: Once you have set the proper resolution, click the OK button.
